Loved my stay at this hotel for a wedding this weekend. The rooms were beautiful, especially the larger room my son and daughter in law had. It was well worth the additional cost having a living area and fridge. My queen room next door was also lovely. The walk in shower was great. Nice water pressure and hot water. Bed and bedding was comfy. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Location was perfect. Loved the free parking so close by. Would love to stay here again.
Wonderful staff from front desk to housekeepers to valet This is a great weekend escape. The hotel is right in the square McKinney is magical during Xmas Will start making this an annual weekend retreat
Loved everything about this charming, historic hotel! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and huge. The bar is unique and great and the location is perfectly located in the heart of historic downtown McKinney. Highly recommend and hope to come back one day!
Even though I arrived very late when getting my room to my surprise the room was nice, clean and. distinguishing. It had a very old vibe but met all the criteria for a great night sleep. I would have enjoyed the bar to stay open to a minimum of 2am but we missed the entertainment. The coffee in the morning was strong the way I prefer and the service was good.
A wonderful and convenient location in downtown McKinney. Allows you to walkout and immediately enjoy the many shops, restaurants and boutiques in the area, all in the walking distance from your hotel. The hotel itself gives you a feeling of an era long past. Everything from the lobby, to the upscale dinning room to the family friendly bar, (with live entertainment on certain nights) gave us memories to last a lifetime!
Check in is a breeze. Whoever is working the front desk is always friendly. Never a bad experience...ever. I like the rooms. Beds are comfy. Plenty of hot water. And of course you can't beat the location. Plan ahead....this place books up fast. They have coffee downstairs in the morning as well as a nice sitting area by the fireplace. We will be back again!
This is our second time staying at The Grand Hotel and we will definitely be back! The amenities, rooms, and the ambience are absolutely amazing. All of the staff are so nice and very accommodating. JP and Trey at the Lounge were stand outs during our stay. JP was very personable and made the experience memorable! He made the best old fashioned! We had reservations at Rick’s for brunch and dinner which was incredible - definitely recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were all so nice and welcoming. I will be back! It was great to be so close to all the shops and restaurants, we were able to walk everywhere and had a wonderful trip.

My husband is a wheelchair user let me say rooms are spacious and accessible that is an A+ for us. Love the area too staff was great
